1Body4Sixty - Day 23


Peggy - 194 (-0.0; -22.0 Total) 

This morning I weighed in at 194 lbs. (still down 22 lbs.) I slept eight hours and was up three times.

Breakfast was two cups of coffee w/Stevia.

Lunch was 2 oz. tilapia & 2 oz. sirloin with asparagus, and an orange.

Dinner was 3 oz. chicken, two bread sticks, and asparagus with strawberries for dessert.

Okay, so my scale is stuck!! I promise I am not cheating. I don’t even want to cheat because I want to lose another 22 lbs.  I confess that if I was going to be a cheat it would be for a glass of red wine (or three)!

Although you need not exercise, I elected to walk a mile and a half in the hopes of jump starting my stall.

1Body4Forty - Day 23


Amy – 156.5 (-1.9; -15.8 Total)

Yay, down to 156.5!  Momentary blip and then 1.9 pounds – I feel like I’m finally over the hump and back on track!  Today I went to a lecture and then a mile and half walk around the park afterwards with Peggy, so we’re at least getting a little exercise to burn the fat that’s being released into our bodies.  I also got a little more exercise walking around the mall shopping.  Shopping is much more fun as you get thinner.  It’s so much easier to find clothes you feel good in!
For my breakfast/lunch meal, I had three cups of coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs and an orange.  Yes, I know I’m only supposed to have one yolk and 3 egg whites, but there’s not an egg on earth that is worth eating without its yolk… Egg whites, yuck.
For dinner, I had 4 oz of steak and canned asparagus, chilled.  I had an apple earlier to keep me going before going shopping. I also drank at least 9 cups of water today as well, so I am keeping well hydrated in order to flush out my body.

1Body4Sixty - Day 22


Peggy - 194 (-0.0; -22.0 Total)

This morning I weighed in at 194 AGAIN!!! Still only 22 lbs. down. I slept nine hours and was up 3 times.

Breakfast was two cups of coffee w/Stevia.

Lunch was 3 oz. tilapia and broccoli with an orange.

Dinner was 3.5 oz. sirloin with asparagus, two bread sticks and an apple.

Completely eliminated the sauces and dressings today to research whether they may have anything to do with my stall.

1Body4Forty - Day 22


Amy – 158.4 (+1.1; -13.9 Total)

Well, it looks like there was a delayed reaction because I went up 1.1 pounds.  Ugh, this is frustrating!  I skated this morning for 2 hours, so hopefully the exercise will help burn some calories that caused the gain.  I also took a mile and half walk in the park today with the dog to get in a little more calorie burn.  I did skip the probiotic this morning b/c I had coffee early on before leaving for the rink.
After 3 cups of coffee, I had ½ cup of cottage cheese for lunch as my protein and steamed broccoli with spices.  I had my first fruit at 3 pm which was strawberries & stevia.
Later for dinner, I had baked chicken and tomato chopped with a little blue cheese dressing on the side. (Walden Farms no calorie dressing, that is.)  I had my second fruit of an apple for dessert at 7 pm.

1Body4Sixty - Day 21


Peggy - 194 (-1.0; -22.0 Total) 

This morning I weighed in at 194 lbs., down 22 lbs. from my starting weight.
I slept eight hours and was up during the night three times.

Breakfast was two cups of coffee w/Stevia.

Lunch was salad with egg, red onion, tomatoes with ¼ c. i.e. 2 oz. or 4 T., Walden Farms bleu cheese dressing.

An orange was my snack.

Dinner was 3 oz. tilapia w/ 2 T. Walden Farms mayo, broccoli and two bread sticks. An apple with cinnamon and stevia was dessert.

Beware the Ides of March!! I registered online at the Walden Farms website for the newsletter. Today I received a catalog of their products plus three one dollar coupons off the purchase of their products!

I am dying to be able to try their peanut butter spread and pasta sauce after the first phase of the HCG diet. For the time being, I will add to my collection with the caramel dip for my apples and the honey mustard mayo, Pear & White balsamic salad dressing!

1Body4Forty - Day 21


Amy – 157.3 (-0.0; -15.0 Total)

Still no change, but the wine and BW3 salad did not seem to have an impact, other than possibly being the reason I did not go down again.  We’re half way through the diet now, so I guess I should be happy.  If I can lose another 15 in the second half, that would put me at 30!  That’s a very optimistic goal-
After a couple of cups of coffee, I had an orange for breakfast.  For lunch today I only had baked chicken and skipped the veggie which may not be a good choice.
For dinner, I had baked chicken again although this time it was marinated in roasted garlic & herb spices.  I also had a salad with the Walden Farms blue cheese dressing.  As much as I tried, I only drank about 6 cups of water today.
