1Body4Sixty - Day 12

Peggy - 196 (-2.0; -20.0)

This morning I weighed in at 196 lbs., which is down twenty lbs. from my starting weigh of 216 lbs. 1Body4Life Weight Loss has provided the easiest weight loss method ever!

I woke up four times during the night due to sleep apnea. (How much weight do I need to lose before that goes away?)

Breakfast was two cups of coffee w/Stevia.

Lunch was 4 oz. ground round with garlic, sea salt and cayenne seasoning on lettuce with cherry tomatoes. The cayenne pepper was a new seasoning for me and I love it.

I had a. few celery sticks with Walden Farms Bleu Cheese Dressing. Didn’t eat my fruit.

Dinner was 4 oz. chicken breast broiled with garlic pepper and sea salt. I also had a quarter of a head of cabbage which I seasoned with the garlic and sea salt. Two bread sticks and an apple. I also had 2 cups of tea.

I drank my 64 oz. of water but let me give you a tip: Not being much of a water drinker, I take a 20 oz. bottle of water, add a packet of Stevia and the juice of half a lemon. Yum! But roll the lemon on the counter until soft before cutting it. This makes for a more juicy lemon. This makes drinking all that water easier.

1Body4Forty - Day 12

Amy – 160.4 (-0.0; 11.9 Total)
Still no change for 3 days in a row! I am now a bit bummed and am contemplating doing an ‘apple day’ which means eating 6 apples throughout the day, spaced every couple of hours.  Not looking forward to that at all.  It’s not that I don’t like apples, but not 6 in a row. Ugh.

In the morning I had two cups of coffee and no fruit for breakfast.  At lunch I had baked chicken marinated in white wine vinegar and greek spices.  Again, I had a cup of coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage) with chopped tomato and 2 tablespoons of the Walden blue cheese dressing which I love.

Later at 3 pm I had an orange.  I also took a brisk 1 mile walk around the park with the dog.  Mild, but decent, non-strenuous exercise and it got me out of the house and into the fresh air.

For dinner I had about double the amount of steak I should have had, thinking it would have the same effect as it did the other day.  This was accompanied by a sliced tomato with sea salt & pepper.  I skipped my second fruit for the day.

By the end of the day, I feel like I have a lot of food stuck in my stomach, probably because of the coleslaw/cabbage I had for lunch 2 days in a row.  Not sure in hindsight that that was such a good thing.  I thought the roughage would help move things along, but it may have slowed things down.  For some reason, having more steak than I should have eaten felt like a good idea to push everything through….  My stomach is cramping a bit late tonight.
