1Body4Forty - Day 10

Amy – 160.4 (-2.0; 11.9 Total)

I can’t believe I lost another 2 lbs today, but I’m just so happy it didn’t go up.  I’ll take it!  Despite having the full 7 oz of Delmonico steak last night, I went down in weight and it did seem to help flush out my body this morning which is good.  All of that water I drank yesterday (at least 5-6 bottles) seems to have helped too.
After a decent night’s sleep of 9 hours, I had 3 cups of coffee this morning and didn’t eat lunch until noon.  I had baked chicken marinated in white wine vinegar and Cajun spices and a ‘bruschetta’ salad with spinach, chopped tomato, onion, fresh garlic & balsamic vinegar.  Very, very yummy!  I had my first fruit of strawberries and stevia at 2 pm.
I was able to eat dinner until 8 pm, after errands and grocery shopping, so unfortunately I had a 1/4 hamburger patty (unweighed because I was in a hurry to cook the 2nd one for my kid) cooked with Chicago spice mix.  I had a can of cold asparagus because again that was the quickest thing I could do.  I followed with my second fruit of an orange and  a nice warm cup of chamomile tea with stevia later.
Better planning on my part would have kept me from being so hungry and in such a hurry to eat.  I should have paid better attention and had my second fruit late in the afternoon instead.
At 10 days out of 40, we’re now 25% through our diet!  30 more to go!

1Body4Sixty - Day 9

Peggy - 202 (-2.0; -14.0)

Weighing at 202 lbs. means that I have lost 14 lbs. in nine days! I am beginning to see the change in the fit of my clothes. What other diet has such quick and drastic weight loss??

I slept my usual nine hours, getting up five times during the night.

Breakfast was two cups of coffee. I had four cups of tea with my 64 oz. of water during the day.

Lunch was a hard boil egg, two cups of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion and Walden Farms Creamy Bacon Dressing. Two hours after lunch I ate an apple.

Dinner was tilapia with Durkee Grill Creations Blackened Seasoning and a cup of aspargras w/lemon pepper seasoning and two bread sticks.  Strawberries were dessert.

I felt the need for something after dinner, so I ate a few celery sticks with Walden Farms Bleu Cheese Dressing.

1Body4Forty - Day 9

Amy – 162.4 (-2.8; 9.9 Total)
Yay!  Finally my weight dropped almost 3 lbs!  Not a bad start to the second week and I am started to feel a bit thinner which is great!  I was able to get 9 hours of sleep last night since it’s the weekend!
In the morning I had 3 cups of black coffee and a breakfast of strawberries & stevia at 11 am.  Around noon, I had a lunch of baked chicken marinated in white wine vinegar and Chicago steak spices.  This was accompanied by my ‘caprese’ salad of chopped tomato with fresh chopped basil and balsamic vinegar.  Around 7:30 pm, we had dinner out at Lone Star again and I had my 7 oz Delmonico steak sandwich (without the bread of course) and an order of steamed spinach without butter and a couple of glasses of ice tea (with stevia I brought from home in my purse.)  I cut the steak in half with the best intentions of only eating the 3.5 oz and taking the other part home, but I couldn’t resist it and wound up eating the whole thing.
Hopefully the extra steak acts more like a maintenance ‘steak day’ and will flush out some more weight tomorrow.   A little worried my weight may go back up, but I will keep my fingers crossed that I didn’t make a huge mistake!

1Body4Sixty - Day 8

Peggy - 204 (-2.0)

Down another two pounds to 204 lbs. ! Slept nine hours and awoke five times during the night. I hope that by the time I get to twenty pounds lost, the sleep apnea will improve.

Coffee for Breakfast after my HCG.

Lunch was a hard boiled egg (for my protein) and 2 cups of artesian lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes and Blue Cheese Dressing (Walden Farms, of course) Delicious! I also purchased Caesar Dressing and will be trying that soon.

Apple for snack.

Dinner was a quarter pound (4 oz.) sirloin and asparagus with lemon pepper and two bread sticks.

Orange for snack.

Drank half gallon of water (64 oz.)

I did have to retouch my hair. I should have done that prior to starting the HCG diet, but was not thinking. I am sure that there are some oils in the hair coloring. I am hoping that it does not affect my weight loss tomorrow!

1Body4Forty - Day 8

Amy – 165.2 (-0.0; 7.1 Total)

It’s the beginning of the second week and I am a bit frustrated that I have stayed the same for 3 days now.  It was probably the steak I had last night that is still sitting in my stomach.  Ugh.  I remain hopeful that my weight will change tomorrow though.  I ice skated this morning so hopefully the exercise will help burn a few extra calories.

Had black coffee with friends after skating (no lattes anymore!)  For lunch at 12:30 pm, I had the leftover 3.5 oz of steak from Lone Star and a salad with chopped tomato and Waldon Caesar dressing that Peggy recommended.  This was followed by a dessert of strawberries with stevia.  I had an apple later on during the afternoon.  For dinner I had baked chicken with roasted garlic & herb spices and cold asparagus.  I had a cup of green tea with stevia later.
I tried to drink more water today and get in the full 64 oz, so hopefully this will aid my weight loss tomorrow.
