Today I officially begin maintenance, so I
will need to carefully add in more calories and fats into my diet, while still
staying away from carbs and sugars as much as possible. This is usually a bit difficult at first
because you are so used to eating such a very simple diet. I am so used to eating steamed vegetables
without any adding oil that it doesn’t even sound good or appeal to me at the
moment.
I started with 3 cups of coffee and a
breakfast of a couple of hard boiled eggs and some strawberries with stevia. At lunch I had about an 7 oz broiled steak
with a tomato and no-cal Caesar dressing.
For dinner I had a larger hamburger patty
with cheese on it and a tomato with real blue cheese dressing and some steamed
broccoli with spices. Boy, I’m stuffed
so I’m wondering whether I ate too much or am just not used to a larger meal
after 4 weeks.
We had a skating exhibition tonight and afterwards
I headed to go out with a friend for a drink (hard cider) and an appetizer. I ate a chicken finger with some honey mustard
sauce, but I managed to keep myself away
from the waffle fries (for the most part) and only ate 2 small ones. They really are not appealing to me at this
point which is a good thing as I go out into a world of food temptations…
